Important Traffic/Parking Information for X-Country Meets

Constable Bryant from Central Saanich Police Service has alerted the district to an infrastructure project starting on the south end of Centennial Park that will greatly impact parking and likely the amount of time it takes to get to Centennial Park for cross-country meets on April 17, 24 and May 1st.

To ease the traffic congestion on Wallace Drive due to one lane traffic during construction and limited parking, it is suggested that families consider:

• carpooling

• leaving school earlier and parking further away from event and walking to Centennial Park

• checking emails/school website prior to the meets for updated information about alternative spots for parking
